Co-Therapists
Jessica's therapy dogs are more than just partners or "working dogs," they are treasured family members. She takes the responsibility of their health and wellness very seriously, both at home and especially in the office.
Both dogs receive annual physicals and are up-to-date on all vaccinations including: Rabies, Lepto, Lyme, and Bordetella.
Both dogs have liability coverage and are covered under malpractice insurance.
RILEY FAITH
Sweet, Affectionate, and Sassy
Is an 8 year old Maltipoo Chihuahua mix who was adopted by Jessica in 2019 from Buffalo C.A.R.E.S Animal Rescue.
She was originally certified as a therapy dog by Therapy Dogs International Inc. in 2023. Her certification was transferred to RocDog, a local WNY 501c3 therapy dog organization, in 2025.
Her favorite toy is her jumbo Lambchop, but she absolutely loves treats and chews more. Her favorite treat is Icelandic+ Cod Chips and her favorite chew is No-Hide Venison chews.
When she is not working Riley loves to play and compete in agility, tricks, barn hunt, and rally.
WESTLEY BERNARD
Energetic, Curious, and Authentic
Is a 3 year old purebred West Highland White Terrier (Westie) born in the summer of 2022 in Youngstown, NY through an ethical AKC-affiliated breeder.
Westley is currently a therapy dog in training with a plan to be fully certified in 2026. He has limited interaction with selected clients who have been screened for appropriateness.
His favorite toys are tugs with real fur on them and his favorite treat is Beef Liver from Buffalo Freeze Dry.
When not in the office he plays and competes in agility, barn hunt, nose work, and obedience.
PROFESSIONAL DISCLAIMER
Jessica is the volunteer Buffalo Regional Director for RocDog. She conducts therapy dog certification exams, facilitates follow up new member observations, and outreaches with the Buffalo region communities to set up visits.
RocDog provides full coverage liability insurance for their certified therapy dogs. Therapy dog's in training have private liability insurance through the Dean Insurance Agency to cover them when in office with Jessica.
Jessica receives financial compensation from conducting RocDog Therapy Dog Certification Exams ($25/handler).
